terms & conditions
Payment
- Payment must be made in advance for both the initial and subsequent appointments for online and in-office counselling.
- Appointments are only confirmed once payment has been made 24 hours prior to the session.
- All payments are non-refundable.
Appointment & Cancellation Policy
- All sessions are by appointment only.
- Cancellation or rescheduling of counselling appointments made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- You are able to cancel your appointment after your payment, provided you give us more than 24 hours’ notice. However, you will have only one month to use your paid session.
Duration per session & Punctuality
- Duration per session is from 60-90min (refer to fees).
- Charging is based on the appointment time and NOT the start time of the session, therefore punctuality is highly encouraged.
Confidentiality
- All information shared by you is kept confidential with the following exceptions: 1) when the information is subpoenaed by the court or authorities 2) when we make an assessment that you pose a risk to yourself or others.
- Please ensure you have a safe and private space for Online Session.
- Recording of the session in any form is not allowed.
Record-keeping & Counselling report guidelines
- Session Notes
We take brief notes during counselling sessions to support the therapeutic process. These records are kept securely for two (2) years from the date your counselling ends. After this period, all records will be permanently destroyed.
- Personal Information
Any personal details you share with us are kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law.
- Counselling Reports
If you require a report or formal documentation, an administrative fee will apply. Please contact us directly for details on the charges. Kindly note that we are unable to issue any reports once more than two (2) years have passed since the end of your sessions.
WhatsApp Chat Function
- The WhatsApp chat function is provided solely for fixing appointments and administrative purposes. It is not intended for discussing personal or therapeutic issues. All such matters will be addressed exclusively during scheduled counselling sessions.
Emergency
- Please call 999 or go to the A&E of any restructured hospital if you are having suicidal thoughts that you may act upon.
